1930s Glam Townhouse - Bedroom...

This room was my favorite room to work on, more Hollywood Regency than Art Deco.  I got my inspiration from the bedroom set in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day which is a fun movie to watch...

The glass tiles are from Home Depot (oops one light is out!)...

I had intended to have a lot more glamourous dresses in the closet but I quickly came to find that miniature clothing is not my forte...

The fabric that I used fro the wall and bedspread was from a favorite dress of mine that had become a bit snug!

The wall was simple to create.  I pinned the fabric and batting to graph paper and sewed along the graph lines...

Gone with the Wind was a favorite movie and book of mine when I was a teenager.  The nightstands are part of light sculpture from the dollar store...

The curtains from the same materials.  I didn't keep track of the grain sometimes it is going horizontal and sometimes vertical...

  1. What a glam boudoir! The quilted wall is divoon --I think I might want that in my 'rl' bedroom!

  4. Very glam, the stitched wall must have been time consuming but looks great. I get what you mean about mini dressmaking, I find I am all thumbs!
