I have been doing a little mini work over the last few months. I've been wanting to do a house for my kid's school silent auction for the last couple of years and I finally got around to it.
This is Greenleaf's Laurel. I bought it right at the beginning of my mini making before I realized all the gems that could be found on craiglist etc.
I worked on it literally until it was to be delivered to the function space. It arrived with tape still holding the last bits of glued pieces. I didn't even get a chance to take good photos of the house which is too bad. But here are a couple I took with my phone in bad lighting...
Wow it is fabulous I am sure it will be popular. It must have been stressful getting it finished on time, you obviously needed a stiff drink afterwards:)
ReplyDeleteI really like the paint colors that you have chosen for this doll's house and it looks full of Spring sunshine and flowers! Someone will be Very Happy that you made this! I am surprised that you could bear to part with it!?

How adorable! My first-ever dollhouse was bought at a charity auction, though it was a big modern house, not cute like your Laurel.
ReplyDeleteWat een leuk romantisch poppenhuis heb je. Veel plezier ermee.

Beautiful job, Heather! I, too, would have a difficult time parting with it. I also like its cheeriness. I wonder who the lucky new owner will be! xo Jennifer
