Glam 1930's Townhouse - Living Room

This was a fun room to work on.  I loved picking out the artwork for the walls.  Various artists from that were popular in the thirties.

The coffee table was a splurge at the last miniature show I attended.  It is from the amazing Peter Tucker.  It was very hard to pick just one thing from his work.

I am not very patient when it comes to measuring as you can see from the cockeyed molding!

The molding was inspired (or should I say copied)  by the grand hall in New Upstairs Downstairs Series...

I love the bar cart with it's mini working casters!  I ordered the Reutter whiskey serving set from New England miniatures to round out what I already had.  (The soda water bottle is much better than the one I tried to make!)

Mini invitations for the very popular Eveline...

There is always a party in progress at Lyons House...

1930s Glam Townhouse - Foyer

Welcome to Lyons House.  If you remember from this post, (which was over a year ago!)  Lyons House is the home of Eveline Bay.  Eveline is glamorous 1930's starlet.  The studio promotes her as the daughter of a wealthy industrialist but she is actually a small town girl with big city dreams from the mid-west.

The door is answered by Miriam Smith, Eveline's housekeeper/personal assistant (she is Lucinda an Emanjay doll that I got at Minidolls.com)...

The foyer...

 Evening guests?...

Some mail waiting on the sideboard...

The kitchen will be the next stop on the tour...

1930's Glam Townhouse Final Touches...

I've been working away on the final touches of the 1930's Glam Townhouse.  At least final for now.  I'm ready to move on. So the next few days I'll be giving you a mini tour.  Stay tuned.

And just because another little mini that has been keeping us busy....
